About
Yarek says
‘Most of my photographs are very raw because I don’t want to get an attention to colours, fancy “photoshoping” or shocking scenes. I reduce the usage of photo editing in post-processing to the absolute minimum. I believe that life and its authentic situations catch attention strong enough. But the authenticity is the key. I know that I can create any “photograph” I can imagine in Photoshop in just few hours but… I can’t see any value in it. I have tried hard to see it but with no luck. I want to connect the photograph to the real life because only this connection will add a value to them....’

There were always different aspects of the human nature that captured his attention, fascination of human relations, physical appearance, and emotions that draw people’s faces. As a great observer, he had a chance to interact with various groups of people. All this helped him to get closer to understanding the importance of human interactions and build a respect for chosen life style of each human. When working as Laboratory Consultant at a Steel Factory, Yarek observed day to day life of his fellows co-workers, their points of view and habits as well as share thoughts with them. Later, when working as Picture Editor in media industry he has been observing a different habits and ambitions. Same, when studying Pedagogy and Philosophy or when was cooperating with cotemporary dancers. All of those people have chosen different life pathways. All of them had a different habits and life experiences but at the end of the day they had some things in common. Things like desire of happiness, good health or acceptance within their own community. All this experiences have opened Yarek's eyes for the essence of humans needs and expectations.
